Serenity S.T.A.R.S (Strengthen, Transform, Affirm, Restore, and Support) program provides FREE after school tutoring services for students in K-8th grade.
Our mission is to provide high-quality after school enrichment programs for Merced County students, focusing on academic support, skill-building, and social-emotional development.

Spiritual Leader/Founder
Pastor Brown is an anointed and spirit-filled woman of God, who has been serving in ministry for over twenty years. She believes in the power of the Holy Spirit and its ability to transform lives. Pastor Brown also embraces the spiritual gifts of others and creates an atmosphere that allows individuals to use their gifts to expand the Kingdom of God.
Furthermore, Pastor Brown operates and believes in the “Supernatural” manifestation of God’s Word and Power. In 2019, Pastor Brown was called by God to birth a ministry in Merced, CA and beyond. She stepped out on Faith and launched “Walking by Faith Ministries International (WBFMI). WBFMI is commissioned by God to transform the world through his Love and Word. Hence, we embrace diversity and inclusivity within the church, because God came to save us all (John 3:16-17)
Additionally, Pastor Brown, possess a BSW from Benedict College, MSW from University of South Carolina (USC), and EdD from the University of Southern California (USC). She is a native of South Carolina and has nearly thirty years of experience serving children, adults, families, and building healthier communities
